In a recent interview, D12 member Bizarre announces that D12 will be releasing a new album in 2012. The Detroit based rapper also states that he is prepping an upcoming solo mixtape release in addition to the D12 project.
Shady Records has had busy year during 2011. With the release of Royce Da 5’9 and Eminem’s Bad Meets Evil ’Hell:The Sequel’ along with Yelawolf’s debut album ‘Radioactive,’ the label had to delay their D12 album originally slated for a 2011 release date.
Bizarre recently told MTV Rap Fix that the Detroit rap group is looking to release the new D12 album next year, although no official release date has been given. Aside from the group effort, Bizarre has been busy professing his love for Young Money’s female superstar Nicki Minaj on his latest music video for the song ‘Hey Nicki.’
The song’s release is meant to not only tell Nicki how he feels about her, but also to give fans a taste of the upcoming solo project. The new mixtape, entitled ‘Life as a Backup Dancer for Hammer’ will likely be the standard Bizarre sound we have become accustom to over the years.
Aside from the D12 record, Shady Records is also working to release their highly anticipated Slaughterhouse album in 2012.
